You cross the street without looking.  No cars are coming so you're ok.  You get a drink, piss out front because the dumb kid working there won't let you use the bathroom and leave.

As you are walking away from the store, you spontaneously combust.  You become a story for those strange tv shows to simulate and are swept into a nearby sewer.
